No More Chewing

I have found a miracle product!! LOL!

Grannick's Bitter Apple spray is designed to discourage fur biting, hair chewing and hot spots. But that't not all it works for! Finn is a very destructive pup, he chews everything he can get his mouth around, and usually detroys it. We started spraying the Bitter Apple solution on everything, and WOW! It works great. He curls up his lip in disgust at the smell of the stuff. He won't chew anything that has it on it! I am so impressed!

I also breed Chihuahuas, and I now have 5 week old puppies running around my living room. Chihuahua puppies LOVE to chew on cords! This litter just started chewing on cords two days ago, so about 15 minutes ago I caught one of them. I immediatly went to grad my Bitter Apple spray and voila! No more chewing. He tried, but was very disgruntled with the new flavor!

Have you tried this at all? Let me know what you used it on and how it works!

Just a word of caution, some dogs LOVE the flavor of this! So try it out on something small before you spray it everywhere!

Grannick's also had several other taste deterrent products for all types of animals! Check out their website for more info: http://www.bitterapple.com/

Hey. I found this site while googling for info after my dog ate an oxidizer packet from a treat package she ripped apart. I saw your post about the bitter apple spray. Let me tell you! Do not try even a drop of it!!! It tastes nothing like apple!!!!! It tastes like the strongest bile and chemicals. Even a portion of a drop touched anywhere in your mouth will fill your mouth with horribleness. Your whole mouth will somehow feel this weird and extreme bile sour chemical taste that wont go away for awhile. I saw it in a store back in 2004 and said to myself pshhh green apple on package, sour apple spray sounds like a treat. So i sprayed toward my thumb but only got a tiny drop on thumb and lightly touched it to tongue in one spot and whole mouth and throat felt like it was under attack by evil sulfuric acid and robot barf. I dont know how any dog could stand it. I refuse to use it in my home because of the chance that i might somehow get it on my fingers and accidentally taste it again. Nothing gets the taste out really. I ran around that pet store like a crazy person and grabbed a snickers and shoved it in my mouth trying to get rid of that taste. Didnt work.
