C'est L'alloween!
I was SO EXCITED! when I saw the ad in a magazine for all the great Halloween Costumes for my little ones. And they were all only 9.99!! So on Oct 10th I went to a Walmart. NOTHING LEFT! WHAT?!?!? There is still 3 weeks left till Halloween and there is was a very sparse selection. What I could find was either too big or ugly. I managed to find two angel costumes and one Tinkerbell costume from the two Wal Marts that I went to. But come on, why are you sold out so soon? Obviously people wanted it so order more in! They said they would not be getting any more in cause it was too close to Halloween. ARGH!
Anyway, I guess it is worth the check at your local Wal-Mart, they might still have some puppy costumes available at a great price. But next year I am going earlier!

Dogswell - Because Dogs Are Famliy Too!
A few weeks ago I recieved a package in the mail from Dogswell. I knew they were sending me samples, but little did I know how generous they would be! I got a big box packed full with samples! I have not counted, but I am sure I have at least 100 samples, probably more! In the next couple weeks I will be, I mean my kids will be testing all the different products they send us and I will be writing about them. They sent me far to big a variety of stuff to fit it all in one post!
Because Dogswell was so generous, I want to share some with you! I will send you a package of some of each kind of Dogswell treats!! All you have to is post about my new blog on your blog, then leave a comment on this post that you have done so and I will enter you in! Because not many people know about this blog yet, I will let this run until October 31st, 2008 at midnight. Please help me spread the word! If you do not have a blog, please send an email about my blog to 5 other people and then include me on the list!

Charlee Bears
I may talk about alot of kinds of treats, but these are my favorite for sure! I love them because they are small enough my Chihuahuas can eat them fast enough for training, and big enough I can use them for the Irish Setters. The problem with big treats and Chihuahuas is that if it's too big, they go off to another place to crunch on it, distracting them from training. But if they are small enough, they will chew them and wait for more! That's why Charlee Bears are so great!
They are also great for having in your pocket, because they don't dry out like the jerky treats, and they are not wet and messy in your pocket.
Also, there are very few dogs who do not like the Cheese and Egg Charlee Bears. All of my picky eaters like them! Even the puppies go wild when they come out! They also have two other flavours, Liver and Turkey Liver & Cranberry. I have never tried a fresh bag of the Liver, but the Turkey Liver and Cranberry ones they seem to enjoy. They do not go as crazy for them as they do the Cheese and Egg though. Fleury didn't really like them at first actually, but she does now. For more info go to http://www.charleebear.com/

Busy Bones
For the longest time I put off buying a Purina Busy Bone cause of the price. I think they are 4-5 dollars each. But the other day I was feeling generous so I bought two. Finn was so pumped when he got his, Maeve didn't really care ( she eventually hid it in the bush I think). I was so impressed with it. I thought it would be gone in minutes, but Finn took nearly an hour to eat it! A WHOLE HOUR!! That alone makes it worth the 5 bucks it costs. I will definitely be buying more!
That day I also bought the Dental Busy Bone. It is a bit smaller and a different shape. I made the mistake of giving another one to Maeve, who hid it in the bush ( Maybe she goes back and finds them when I am not around, I dunno, but she is not getting any more bones outside again!). Finn snatched his up immediately and began chewing. Unfortunately, it only took him like 10 minutes to eat. They were a bit cheaper, but I won't buy them again.
They also have the Busy Bone Ultimate that we haven't tried yet... that is next!
For more info got to www.busybone.com

Fleury's Babies -12 weeks old *updated*
Fleury's first little was born on March 18th. She had 7 babies, which is WAY to many for a Chihuahua. We lost 5 of them, and it was a bit of a fight to keep Franco. But now they are both very happy and very healthy!
Guy is a very happy puppy, he loves giving kisses and playing. He has a wonderful personality and would be a great family dog. His weigh is charting out to be 6-7lbs, but his mom and 5 and his dad is 4.5, so I am not sure how big we will be! He is available for $500, or $800 with registration.
Franco is very loving, happy puppy. He loves cuddling and kisses. However he is very dominant puppy. He also had a soft spot on his head that has not closed yet. He is available to a very special home for $300. He needs a home without small children. He would do best in a home without another dog, but if it was a small dog it would probably be ok. It will be required that he is taken to an obedience class. He really needs a family that is willing to train him well and be strict with him, because he will be a very bad dog if he is not because of his dominance issues. He is a very smart guy and learns very fast.
Paris' New Babies!
Here are Paris's new babies, Born June 1st. They are $700 each and available on July 20th! I will start taking deposits on June 22nd. There are 2 males available. The female (with the white face) is already taken. The blue and tan is also on hold. He might be going to a home with his brother, Beau ( Jean-Luc).
